Inn Sweden Business Center - methods for commersialisation

The number of new startups is increasing year by year. At the same time large corporations are looking for new ways to be more innovative. Southern Sweden and the Copenhagen area is serving as a good example for this global trend.

Teknopol has during four years and in two projects – Mobile Heights Business Center and Cleantech Inn Sweden – validated and documented experiences from structured collaboration with established industry. Great business ideas supported by public actors and established industry is leading to new viable companies and new jobs.

So far 26 companies have generated 57 new employments. 3/4 of these companies claim that we have made a difference for their development.

There are probably as many ways to support startups as there are regions around the world. Regional innovation systems in Israel have formulated clear concepts around their work which has generated international attention. Individual players like SRI International has had even greater international impact. Mobile Heights Business Center has in a short period of time become well known in Europe even outside the telecom industry, and is seen as a forerunner regarding industry collaboration and strong focus on the entrepreneur.
